Welcome to the 1956 Egyptian Cabinet! Egypt has just seized control of the Suez Canal, and is making powerful military alliances with the Soviet Union and China. Other countries are crying foul, and as Egypt begins guerrilla warfare with Israel along the Gaza strip, global leaders compare our cabinet to a neo-Nazi regime. How long can we keep control of the canal while retaining our country's safety? How will our attempts to
maintain a small but crucial trade center affect the newly-peaceful free world? The choice is yours.

Hi, I'm Bethany Hill, and I am very excited to chair the Egyptian Cabinet! Last year I chaired the DUMUNC World Health Organization, and had a fantastic time. I'm currently a sophomore at Duke majoring in public policy, with a certificate in markets and management studies. In my spare time, I also serve on the Duke Student Government senate, work at a social science research center, and participate in a sorority. Should you have any questions regarding DUMUNC or Duke life in general, please do not hesitate to email me. I look forward to getting to know you in the months ahead! |
