Committees
Welcome to the committees page! To your left you will find resources to help you begin preparing for your specific committees. The committee pages include a brief introduction from the chair and assistant chair of each committee, as well as the background guides and any other documents that may be relevant to the committee. You will also be able to contact your chairs with the forum that can be found in the upper-right hand corner of the page. There you will be able to ask chairs any questions you might have about the conference before it starts.
As DUMUNC approaches I will be updating the committee pages with more information and relevant documents. All documents are expected to go online by mid-December 2010. Please also note that because the joint crisis committees will be simulating a "real-time" crisis, these committees will not be posting standard background guides. Delegates will be expected to arrive a general understanding of the history and politics of the relevant region.
I hope that you will use the resources provided to get the most out of the conference. Remember, your chairs are there to be e-mailed, so if you have any questions as you prepare for the conference, please do not hesitate to e-mail them, or me, at any time. I look forward to seeing you at DUMUNC in February.
Sincerely,
Angela Mitchell
Secretary-General
